PBT plastic material

Because of its low cost, high strength and friction resistance compared to other materials, there are still many customers choosing this material. However, the formability of this material is poor, the shrinkage is serious, the melting temperature is low, and the phenomenon of plastic melting will occur in wave welding.

Nylon 66

Thermoplastic resin. White solid. Density 1.14. The melting point is 253 ° C. Insoluble in general solvents, only soluble in m-cresol, etc. High mechanical strength, hardness and rigidity. It can be used as engineering plastics. Rockwell hardness 108-118. The thermal deformation temperature (1814.11 pa, 18.5 kg force/cm2) is 66-86 ° C. Used as mechanical accessories, such as gears and lubricating bearings; Instead of non-ferrous metal materials, it can be used as machine shells, automotive engine blades, etc. It can also be used to make synthetic fibers.

6T plastic material

According to connector manufacturers, this material is commonly used on 2.54-pitch patch busbars, and 1.27-pitch / 2.0-pitch series busbars. The welding temperature is between 260-290 degrees, so the cost of a busbar connector produced with this material is slightly higher. The choice of this material is generally the customer’s quality requirements.

9T plastic material

The connector products using this material are mostly 2.54 pitch patch busbars, and 1.27 pitch /2.0 pitch series busbars. The welding temperature is about 260-300 degrees. Due to the high price of this material, when customers have special requirements, 9T plastic materials are usually used to produce connector products.

LCP plastic material

Suitable for the production of various pitch series of busbar connector products, welding resistance temperature between 260-320 degrees. This material has a small coefficient of linear expansion, low injection shrinkage, good strength and elastic modulus, excellent heat resistance, high deformation temperature under load, excellent chemical resistance and air tightness. Therefore, LCP materials are the first choice for connectors in general, especially those requiring SMT.

The connector application field of LCP material is more manufacturers in the automotive industry. Because the price of this material is more expensive than other materials, and the manufacturing process is higher than the four processes, the customer groups used are some special customers and product requirements.
